The Keeper
A downloadable game
The Keeper is a first-person survival horror game set on Northreach Island, Maine, abandoned since 1989 and located 50 miles off the coast.
The old fishing town is empty. The ferry stopped running decades ago. Only the lighthouse still operates.
You are the Keeper.
Every few months, a boat drops you off and leaves you alone until the next supply ship arrives. No neighbors. No backup. Just you and the light.
During the day, you repair the lighthouse, fix generators, board up weak spots, and search the abandoned town for supplies. If food runs low and the supply ship is delayed, you’ll need to fish or scavenge to survive. You can use limited weapons in daylight, but ammo and fuel are scarce.
At night, the ocean rises.
Creatures from the deep ocean trenches swarm the island under cover of darkness. They crawl from the water and move toward the tower.
They fear the light.
Your main defense is the lighthouse beam. Keep it powered. Keep it fueled. If the light goes out, they get closer. The longer it stays dark, the more aggressive they become.
Each night gets harder.
Supplies run thin.
The swarms grow stronger.
You are not just keeping ships safe.
You are holding something back.
Don’t let the light go out
